Turkey’s one of the pioneering ventures in the field of manufacturing electric motors, EMTAŞ A.Ş founded in 1964. It was taken over in 1967 by ELSAN ELEKTRİK SAN VE TİC. A.Ş

The plant, in the beginning manufacturing electric motors up to 18,5 kW power only.  generally by assembling with importing major parts. Then steadily developed into its present status, being capable not only of producing IEC Norm Motors of up to 400 kW power plus 12 other types of electric motors and alternators.And also designing and manufacturing special purpose motors as per customers specifications with it’s qualified staff.

With the widest range of products in it’s field, ELSAN can meet almost all sorts of motor requirements through its production under the brand names EMTAŞ and ELSANMOT.
Elsan is also representative of overseaseas electric motor manufactures. It supplies to its customers exproof motor for gasoline pumps high voltage and EFF1 motors which are not in its product range.

The factory located in Ankara, Etimesgut on 17000 m²  indoor area. Silicon steel, copper wire, cast iron and aliminium have been converted to highest quality products by using modern technology machinery by over 130 employees who have supervised by experienced techinical staff.

Elsan always focuses on the optimum production technology,paying attention to all its activitiesbased on human and respectful to environment by using job health  and security system & environment management sytem. Changing its status as an importer  to its present status to an experter is a proud for Elsan.
